Hungate took the honours 5-3 and star of the show with a hat-trick was Freddie Collison.

Aaron Buckley and Lewis Forth got their other goals while on target for March were Adam Brady, Blake Cowley and Jay Rout.

Second-placed Whittlesey also dropped points as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Spalding but third-placed Glinton and Northborough Black beat Thurlby 6-1 with Andrew Irvine scoring three.

Baston reached the final of the Under 12 League Cup when beating Riverside 3-0 in Sunday’s semi-final with goals by Samuel Harris (2) and Joshua Ford.

Their final opponents will be unbeaten Division One leaders Deeping Blue.

The Under 12 Hereward Cup final will be between Wisbech St Mary and Kings Cliffe. In Sunday’s semis, Wisbech St Mary beat Bourne 3-1 in a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw while Kings Cliffe were 3-1 winners against Tydd St Mary thanks to goals by Jonah Armitage, James Buck and William Swales.
