Martin ‘Wolfie’Adams delivered a nine-dart leg in the BDO International Open at Brean Sands, Hampshire yesterday (June 7).
Throwing perfection arrived for Adams in a last-64 tie against Matt Draper, a match that the Deeping man and former World Champion won 4-0.
Sadly Adams bowed out in the next round to fellow England international Ash Kyhaht who won a last-leg decider for a 4-3 victory.
Adams had earlier beaten English players Graham Wainwright 4-0 and Roger Scrivens 4-1.
Peterborough man Dennis Harbour won matches against Ashley Hurrell (4-1) and Terry Hayes (4-2) before losing 4-2 in the last 64 to Welsh international Dean Reynolds.
England’s Martin Atkins went on to win the event.
