Steve Wood won the last race in the Peterborough Cycling Club Summer League series on the Helpston Circuit.
He clocked 23:06 and finishing 20 seconds clear of Paul Pardoe with 62 year-old Martin Bullen finishing third.
After 15 races James Gelsthorpe was the overall classification winner with Wood the runner-up and Pardoe third.
Pardoe won the overall handicap series while Michael Smalley won the veterans award.
Wood rode the National 10 Championship on Sunday on a tough course near Hinckley.
The weather was grim and Wood finished 110th in a time 22:24.
The club’s second claim member Brett Harwood, riding for his Terry Wright Cycles sponsored team, produced a fine effort but had to be content with an excellent sixth place in 20:04.
