Ramsey opener James Markland has claimed two tons in his first three Cambs Division One games of the season.

Markland opened the season with an unbeaten 111 against Histon and he hammered 101 against Ketton last weekend to again feature prominently in the Peterborough Telegraph merit table. Markland’s other innings in the top flight this season ended in a dismissal for a duck!

Markland’s efforts against Ketton set up a massive 183-run win. It was a first defeat of the season for Ketton and a first win for the reigning champions.

Markland’s 212 top-flight runs this season is just three shy of the division’s leading run scorer Dan Robinson of Nassington.

Scores of 50 or more and bowling returns of five wickets or more ensure an entry into the merit table.

Only one entry in each chart per week is permitted. Scores must be published in the PT or on the PT website to qualify.
