A Hunts Division Two match between Barnack and Bharat Sports on Saturday (July 30) was abandoned after an argument between players on both sides.
Barnack were nine runs shot of victory in the promotion battle with three wickets in hand when the match was called off.
Barnack skipper Mohammed Yaseen said: “Unfortunately the match did not finish due to an incident between one Barnack player and couple of Bharat players during the closing stages.
“Barnack has suspended our player in question for a week for his part in the incident.
“The incident is in the hands of Hunts cricket league now.”
Bharat Sports have yet to respond to a Peterborough Telegraph request for comment.
