The 15 year-old knocked Tom Westley out of the record books. Westley went on to play for Essex and England.

And Gorantla excelled with a first innings half century in a game that ended in a 105 run defeat to Suffolk at Saffron Walden. Peterborough Town’s Rob Sayer cracked 60 in that first innings to help Cambs to a 21-run lead which they failed to sustain despite 12 wickets in the match for left-arm spinner Jamie Sykes of Godmanchester.
