Cambs are using cramming tactics to try and make progress in the Unicorns Trophy, the one-day knock-out competition for the Minor Counties.
Cambs will play all four of their group matches in the space of 15 days, starting with back-to-back games on Sunday and Monday against Herts at Clare College, Cambridge and Beds at Luton respectively.
Cambs are again skippered by Peterborough Town’s Paul McMahon.
He said: “I’m happy to be playing the games in quick succession. It gives us the chance to get some momentum going and the double-header this weekend will set things up.
“Herts have beaten us on the last two occasions we’ve got past the group stages, but I’m confident we have a squad able to get us off to a winning start.”
Ketton’s Rob Woolley is the new name in the squad for this weekend.
Town’s Asim Butt and Joe Dawborn are involved on both days with David Clarke added to the squad for Monday.
Ramsey’s Michael Cafferkey and Wisbech pair Sam Rippinton and Josh Bowers have all been selected for both matches.
