Peterborough Town are out of the National KO Cup.

The city side travelled to reigning Leicestershire Premier Division champions Kibworth for their third round tie yesterday (May 29) and lost by 40 runs.

Kibworth posted a score of 300 and Town were 260-9 at the close.

Town’s Tim Young provided some excellent entertainment for a decent crowd with a knock of 70, bringing up his 50 off just 23 balls.

Town were without their Cambs stars Joe Dawborn, Lewis Bruce and Asim Butt.
