CRICKET: Scotcher steers Hunts Over 50s to victory
The 58 year-old Nassington batsman finished on 125 not out as Hunts beat Suffolk at Barnack by four wickets to record their first win of the season.
Scotcher, batting at number three, hit 16 fours to steer Hunts to 258-6 with four balls to spare. Suffolk totalled 257-7 off their 45 overs.

Hide AdHunts skipper Bob Milne said: “We paced it perfectly and Gary’s innings was real class. It was an absolute vintage performance.”
Steve Best also chipped in for Hunts with a quickfire 33 that included four monstrous sixes, amd Adrian Cade made 32.
Scotcher also did well with the ball, taking 4-19.
Next week Hunts play Cambridgeshire at Wisbech.
