CRICKET: Scotcher steers Hunts Over 50s to victory
Gary Scotcher rolled back the years to hit a match-winning century for Hunts Over 50s yesterday (June 8).

Scotcher, batting at number three, hit 16 fours to steer Hunts to 258-6 with four balls to spare. Suffolk totalled 257-7 off their 45 overs.
Hunts skipper Bob Milne said: “We paced it perfectly and Gary’s innings was real class. It was an absolute vintage performance.”
Steve Best also chipped in for Hunts with a quickfire 33 that included four monstrous sixes, amd Adrian Cade made 32.
Scotcher also did well with the ball, taking 4-19.
Next week Hunts play Cambridgeshire at Wisbech.
