Morgan finished on 270 not out as Bourne amassed 392-1 in their 45 overs against an under-strength visiting outfit at the Abbey Lawns.

The innings is believed to be a Rutland League record. It’s definitely a record high for the top flight and the biggest individual score ever recorded by a Bourne player, beating the 231 scored by Steve Dixon in a lower division Rutland game against works side Newage.
