Peterborough Town suffered a big blow before the Northants League season has even started.

Peterborough Town will appeal a 20-point deduction for failing to attend the Northants League AGM.

Town will go into tomorrow’s opening Premier Division fixture at Rushden on -20 points. The club failed to attend the Northants League’s annual general meeting thus triggering the points deduction.

Town will appeal the decision.
