The Voyager Academy at Walton is the venue for a feast of amateur boxing on Saturday afternoon (November 28).
The Peterborough Police Amateur Boxing Club are staging their second show of the year following a successful summer spectacular in June.
And promoter Chris Baker is hoping to put together at least a dozen bouts with many featuring members of the host club.
Doors open at 2pm with boxing expected to start at 3pm and it’s £10 admission for adults and £5 for children under 16.
The show is being personally sponsored to the tune of £1,500 by Stephen Pinning, the chairman of the Paston Farm Community Foundation Charity, and he’s pledged to make it an annual sponsorship.
Pinning is also a local businessman who runs the Fane Clinic at Paston.
The Peterborough Police Amateur Boxing Club gym is at the Paston Farm Community Centre.
