BOXING: Barron is back with a bang
Peterborough puncher Sam Barron was an emphatic winner in his comebck fight in London at the weekend.
The 27 year-old middleweight from Eye stopped Josef Obeslo in the fourth and final round at the York Hall in Bethnal Green to pick up his third knockout win in four fights.
The 28 year-old from the Czech Republic had a reputation for being durable, but Barron hit too hard for him.
Barron, who was having his first contest for nearly three years, floored Obeslo three times and the referee waved the fight off after the third knockdown, which was from a body shot in the dying seconds of the fight.
