Tony Hudson.

All the big weights came to long range feeder tactics with Rob Scotting leading the way with 78lb 14oz. That was just enough to see off the late challenge of Shane Desmond, who weighed in 74lb 12oz. Then came Pat Woods on 64lb 13oz and Michael Reeves with 60lb 10oz.

Weights continue to improve at Float Fish Farm Fishery.

In the Over 55s match on the Wagtail Pool, Tom Wilson put a level 50lb to the scales from peg nine for the match win. The Spalding rod alternated between the pole and feeder with pellet, netting fish to 5lb.

Runner-up was Tony Hudson with 42lb 12oz then came Ted Rowe on 35lb 12oz.

There were again no big weights to report from Haddon Lodge.

Leading the way in last weekend’s match was fishery bailiff Cliff Fuller. He caught on the pole with pellet early on in the match then switched to the feeder to finish on 14lb. Mick Goodman took second place with 5lb, followed by Jack Keeley on 3lb 10oz.
