Runners from the Peterborough and Stamford region were in dominant form at the Grunty Fen Half Marathon on Sunday.
Stamford-based Aaron Scott powered his way to victory on the flat fenland course in a time of 68.04.
Scott finished nearly three minutes ahead of his training partner Steve Robinson, who took second place in the colours of Peterborough AC.
Werrington Jogger Anthony Johnson completed the podium finishers when coming home in third place in 72.09.
Phil Martin of Bushfield Joggers came home fifth in a new best time of 73:50, just seven days after winning the British Masters Half-Marathon Championship, while clubmate James Fisher, completed a great day for the Orton club by finishing 11th.
Daniel Snipe and Stephen Hall of Peterborough AC ran well crossing the line 15th and 20th respectively, while Nene Valley veteran Sean Beard came home 19th in 79.52.
Former Exton resident Felicity Milton, running in the colours of Woodford Green and Essex Ladies, won the ladies race in 80.01, a time that was good enough for 22nd position overall.
Nene Valley veteran Philippa Taylor was second lady home, running solidly for a time of 1:23.28.
