Julian Smith competed in the Over 45 60m, 200m and 4x200m relay and he capped a good week by taking a bronze medal in the relay.

Earlier in the week he ran a lifetime best of 7.51 secs in the 60m heats to finish second and qualify for the semi-finals. A sixth-place finish in semis meant he missed out on the final.

He had another good run in the 200m heats, finishing second in 24.81 secs, just three hundredths outside his PB, and was then fifth in his semi-final.

David Brown comfortably won his Over 35 400m heat and qualified as one of the fastest losers in the semis. In the final he clocked 50.96 to win a bronze medal, narrowly missing out on silver in a GB 1-2-3 finish.
