Whittlesey AA fished part of the Beastie Lake at Decoy Lakes on Saturday and enjoyed some fine action.

Out in front with 139lb 8oz was Andy Wilding, He started on the Method feeder then caught shallow on the pole at 13 metres.

Runner-up was Paul Wright on 93lb 12oz catching from the margins and shallow close in followed by John Hudson with 89lb 2oz. Most of his fish were caught on the pellet waggler and later in the margins. 

JVAC

Yew Lake at Decoy was the venue for the JVAC club on Sunday which saw Will Hadley put a fine 145lb 9oz to the scales to take a comfortable victory from peg 15.

He caught well fishing shallow on pellet for most of the day and it was more of the same for runner-up Daniel Abbott, who caught 123lb 9oz.

Nick Carlton finished in third place catching on the pole with red maggot for 101lb 7oz.

Over 60s, Rookery Waters, Jay Lake: 1 Roger Abbott 106lb 6oz; 2 Kevin Peacock 96lb 6oz; 3 Keith Rayment 93lb 2oz.

Tydd Gote AC, Clough Bridge: 1 D. Sipits, 8lb 13oz; 2 S. Hearn, 5lb 8oz; 3 C. Davis, 5lb 1oz.
