A much lower than expected turnout for the Hotpoint club saw them well pegged on the better area of the Elm Pool on the Decoy complex. It proved to be a wise move as most caught well once the sun came out.

Top rod was the in-form Pete Sanderson, who drew peg 21 and caught on a small feeder close in all day to finish on 145lb 7oz.

Opposite was Kevin Schneider on peg six and he was second on 124lb 2oz. Third was Josh Knight on 107lb 4oz.
