His latest victory came in the Ramsey match on Jay Lake at Rookery Waters, Pidley. He drew peg 11 and caught on a short pole line with paste, putting 68lb to the scales. Runner-up with 47lb 4oz from peg 13 was Ivan Steels followed by Harry Young (44lb 8oz) and Matt Page (26lb 2oz).

WEBB’S AC

On Sunday, Webb’s AC fished the Small Carp Lake at Kingsland Fishery and the top three anglers all put three figure weights to the scales. They were Peter Harrison (128lb 1oz), Colin Clark (106lb 4oz) and Andy Perry (103lb 15oz).

Castaways AC were on Lake Ross at Pode Hole and first place went to Mike Smith on peg 19 with 101lb of carp caught on worm and maggot in the margin. Dave Norville came second with 78lb and Jim Inwood third with 68lb.

FLOAT FISH FARM

It was busines as usual at Float Fish Farm Fishery as Mark Cree won Saturday’s match on Two Islands from peg 19 catching on the feeder for 151lb 6oz.

Second was Simon Dow with 142lb 10oz and third Danny Carlton (138lb 1oz).

HOTPOINT

Hotpoint AC fished the Kingfisher Pool at Float Fish Farm and first with a very good catch considering the difficult conditions was Brain Faulkner with 68lb 4oz. Next were Pete Sanderson (43lb 13oz) and Tyrone Horn (33lb 2oz).

New member Steve Jukes won the Yaxley, Farcet, Holme and DAC match fished on a private stillwater to the south of Peterborough on Sunday with 65 lb 12 oz of carp. Next came Paul Marriott (50lb 11oz) and Mike Mohan (40lb 1oz).
