There was a strong wind blowing straight down the lake and most struggled in the first half of the match.

Thankfully though there were plenty of fish caught after lunch.

I managed to edge ahead of the field finishing top with 73lb 1oz. Most of my fish fell to a small feeder with just about every fish taken on banded hard pellet from peg eight.

Runner-up on peg 21 was Josh Knight, who caught on the tip close in for 67lb 3oz, followed by Pete Sanderson on peg 22 weighing in a level 64lb.
