Deeping St James had their last match of the year on our local commercial waters and will now switch to their own waters on the Welland and Nene.

Sunday’s match was at Kingsland Fishery on the Small Carp Lake which saw Pete Molesworth take the honours with 62lb 13oz of carp all taken on the pole with red maggot.

Runner-up with 51lb 12oz was John Bowland and then came Wayne Newman on 50lb.


Webb’s AC travelled out to North View Fishery at Gedney Hill for their latest fixture.

Ray Stoner fished the margins with corn and pellet to take a narrow victory with a level 74lb.

Runner-up was Mick Linnell with 72lb 3oz and third Lucio Melillo. He caught on a small feeder then switched to the margins with dead reds to finish on 66lb 15oz.


In the Haddon Lodge match, Martin Harwood caught a net of small carp on banded pellet to top a small field with 20lb 15oz.

Runner-up with 14lb 4oz was Matt Quelth, then came Cliff Fuller and Lucio Melillo both with 6lb 3oz.
