Kilby wins the Tony Bass Memorial

Andrew Kilby was a clear winner of the Ramsey & District Angling Society Tony Bass Memorial match on Ramsey Narrows with 8lb 11½oz. He was on the downstream end peg and his catch included a tench and 5lb of small fish.

Harry Young was second with a level 3lb and then came Paul Kilby with 1lb 14oz.

The club also had an Angling Trust Pike Qualifier on the Forty Foot recently and Derek Mansell won that with three pike for 17lb. Runner-up was Wieslaw Radzik with one fish of 14lb and third with 9lb 8oz was Bob Tyrcot.


After a very disappointing pike and zander match on Ferry Meadows recently, Carl Street is running another, this time on the River Nene.
