Factory Bank looks to be one of the better winter waters in the area right now thanks to the rain we had at the back end of last week.
The Ramsey AS anglers all enjoyed some very good small fish action with Paul Kilby on hot peg one comfortably taking first place catching well close in on the whip for 14lb 8oz.
Just a few pegs away was Frank Bevilacqua and he caught a net of rudd taken on pinkie over groundbait for 11lb 12oz and second place.
In third place was Andrew Kilby with 10lb 14oz and Harry Young finished fourth on 9lb 11oz.
The club’s specimen anglers were also in action at the weekend fishing the Angling Trust Pike qualifier.
Paul Lenton came out on top with six fish for a total weight of 29lb 1oz, including the biggest fish of the day going to the scales at 10lb 3oz.
Keith Rayment took second place with three fish for 18lb 6oz, followed by Bob Tyrkot on 14lb 4oz.
