There was a full house on the Willow Pool at Decoy for the JVAC match, which saw Nick Carlton comfortably take first place with a massive 205lb 7oz.

Drawn on hot peg 25 he caught all day fishing a small Method feeder with hair-rigged pellet over to the island catching from start to finish.

Second was Ron Gilbert with 110lb 10oz and third place went to Ernie Lowbridge with 102lb 4oz.


In the Hotpoint AC match on the Oak Pool once again it was Chris Shortland who topped the list.

The Benwick rod is having a great season and won this one with 87lb 2oz, all caught on the feeder fished down the middle on pellet and maggot.

Runner-up was Richard Knight, who caught well late on in the match to weigh in 66lb 4oz. He was followed by Tyrone Horn, who also caught well on a feeder to put 49lb 2oz to the scales.


It was a father and son battle for the top spot at Haddon Lodge on Sunday, with Lucio Melillo Junior taking the honours with 38lb 7oz of carp and small fish on the pole with pellet. Dad Lucio came second with 22lb 7oz followed by Chris Fuller on 17lb 8oz.
