Another good turnout for the JVAC club saw them fish both the Cedar and Elm Pools on the Decoy Lakes complex.
Once again it was venue expert Andy Gausden topping the section on Cedar with a fine 100lb net of carp.
Second on the lake was Ray Pauley on peg seven. He caught on the pole with maggot.
Then came Kevin Wilmot with 68lb 7oz.
On the Elm Pool, Nick Carlton finished well clear catching a net of barbel on the pole with maggot close in for 101lb 9oz.
Will Hadley took the runner-up spot with 69lb 13oz then came Gus Gausden on 56lb 3oz.
The final match of the year for Hotpoint AC was fished on a difficult Six Island pool at Decoy.
I drew peg 22 which I was not best pleased with but after a quick chat with an angler that had fished it a few days before I did feel a little more confident.
For most of the day I fished the long pole with expander pellet and caught carp throughout the day to finish top with 68lb 14oz.
That was just enough to see off all challengers.
Runner-up was Paul Falkner on peg 13 with 62lb 5oz caught on maggot close in, followed by Pete Sanderson on 47lb 14oz.
