In second place from peg seven was Steve Smith with 35lb 9oz, followed by Mick Sidney from peg nine with 31lb.
HOTPOINT AC
There was a good turnout of Hotpoint AC anglers for the Baz Buckingham Memorial Shield match on Lou’s Pool at Decoy Lakes on Sunday.
It’s a sweetcorn only match, by far my least favourite bait, but I stuck at it and came out on top with 106lb 14oz.

Then I had to switch to the margins and a good late run saw me beat off the chasing pack . . . but only just.
Runner-up with 96lb 5oz was Tyrone Horn. He caught well all day on a short pole line from peg seven.
Then came Colin Buckingham in third place on 92lb 4oz.
