A teenager has been arrested after a woman had a form of irritant chemical squirted in her face in Peterborough.
The incident took place between about 1pm and 1.30pm on Monday, September 19 in Fletton Avenue.
The victim, a woman in her 40s, was walking along Fletton Avenue, heading towards the city centre, when the incident happened.
The victim suffered injuries to her eyes and nose and was taken to Peterborough City Hospital.
A 17-year-old girl has been arrested in connection with the offence and is currently on bail to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on November 10, however officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the offence.
