Peterborough city centre bar is on the move - two doors down
Puzzles, which opened almost two years ago, is switching from 33 Bridge Street to number 29 - the former home of a Costa coffee shop.
As well as a new location there will be a new name - SAMM’S - although owner Matt Murphy was keen to point out the concept will remain the same.

And with double the capacity it opens the doors to “endless possibilities,” he said,
“When the council (the landlord) came up with the offer a couple of months ago I just felt it was a great time to move, make a fresh start in a new home with double the capacity and build on the winning formula we already have.
”At the same time it also seemed right to change the name. There will be lots of changes but the core concept will remain with the same focus on creating a releaxed atmosphere for our customers.”

“The basement offers so many more possibilites,” he said. “We will keep our weekly open mic night and the live music night on a Saturday, but will look to do a club night on a Friday, plus comedy nights and a few more things we have in the pipeline.”
