A child has been taken to hospital after a two car collision outside Aldi in Peterborough.
The crash happened in Whittlesey Road just after 8am this morning (Friday, June 17).
The road shut after the incident but re-opened at 9am.
Cambridgeshire police, the East of England Ambulance Service and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service all attended.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “We received a call today at 8.01am to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision where a car had backed into another car.
“Two ambulance crews were sent and treated three patients, two of whom were discharged at the scene with no injuries of note.
“A child was treated for chest pains and taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.”
