The brass ensemble presented a collaborative piece bringing together four different pieces of music in to one performance. There was a string quartet performance, followed by solo string performances and a group of budding pianists treated the audience to a catalogue of solo pieces. Between the instrumental performances the school choir sang for the audience and in celebration of another successful half term the whole school performed their favourite songs.

Simon Martin, Lead of the Junior Phase, said: “The performances were really impressive and reflected the dedication of the children and our talented music team. This was an excellent example of what is possible in an all through school, where the junior children benefit from the specialist skills within the academy.”
