X Factor auditions are coming to Peterborough.
The auditions will take the format of a talent show on the evening of Monday April 10 at Radius, Northminster Road, in the city centre.
Thames TV talent scouts will be in attendance and will film and record each act prior to taking the footage back to their TV show’s producers in London. If the producers like what they see, the performer will receive a call back and be on their way towards an appearance on the X Factor show itself.
The Willow Festival organiser Mark Ringer will be running the auditions on behalf of Thames TV and he says that everything will be supplied for the performer on the night, such as stage, sound, lighting and even instruments if required.
This is the third time Mark and Thames TV have teamed up to bring Peterborough the auditions, and on previous occasions artists who performed have received call backs and the evening shows have been standing room only events, showcasing some of the area’s finest talent.
Audience participation is a welcome ingredient and adds a fun flavour to the proceedings. Entry is free of charge for both the public and performers. Doors open at 7.30pm.
If you wish to perform at the event, Mark can be contacted on 01733 751864 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
