Visitors to Eastfield Cemetery are being advised that there will be no access for vehicles on Wednesday 26 August 2015.
The ban on travel is to allow for the replacement of the traffic flow plates at the cemetery’s entrances.
Pedestrian access will not be affected by the maintenance works.
Steve Tyler, cemeteries supervisor for the city council, said “We would like to apologise for any inconvience caused by these essential works. This will not affect pedestrian access, so if you are driving we advise you to park nearby and walk in or, if possible, plan your visit for any other day.”
