Woman taken to hospital in critical condition after being taken ill at fair

A woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition after being taken ill at the Peterborough Mart Fair.

Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to the fair last night (Friday, March 31) just before 8pm where a woman in her 20s had been taken seriously ill.

Paramedics treated the woman for what was described as a ‘cardiac incident’ and she was taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a critical condition.

The Peterborough Telegraph received numerous messages from concerned onlookers after the air ambulance and emergency services attended the scene last night.
