A woman broke her leg after a horse fell on her in Whittlesey.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at just after 7am today (27th August) to a track off the A605 at Whittlesey.
An ambulance crew, Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and Magpas Helimedix Air Ambulance attended to a report of a woman who had fallen off a horse, which had then fallen on her.
They treated a woman in her late 20s who had a suspected broken leg. She was given pain relief before being taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening
