This is what the weather will be like in Peterborough this weekend

The Met Office is forecasting a sunny end to Friday with limited cloud and a clear night, highs of 20 degrees this afternoon.

Tomorrow is set to be hotter still, temperatures reaching 23c in the city, with widespread sunshine in the morning giving way to sunny spell interspersed with cloud in the afternoon.

Temperatures will remain at 23c on Sunday with sunshine dominating, so it may be time to fire up the barbecue before the end of summer one more time.

While Monday will stay warm, 22c, it will turn cloudier and temperatures will drop through next week, 18c on Tuesday and 19c on Wednesday.
