Weather warning for Peterborough with snow forecast

Snow is forecast to hit Peterborough at the weekend with temperatures set to drop sharply.

A Met Office yellow snow warning has been issued for the city for Sunday (December 10).

The wet weather today (Thursday) has been accompanied by temperatures reaching 12°C, but from tomorrow (Friday, December 8) it will feel much sharper with a maximum temperature of 3°C.

It will be even chillier at the weekend with temperatures set to go as low as -1°C on Saturday, while on Sunday snow and sleet is forecast with a maximum temperature of 2°C.
