Further ice warning issued for Peterborough

A further yellow weather warning for ice has been issued for Peterborough by the Met Office.

With snow expected to start melting in Peterborough during the day - but freezing temperatures set to remain overnight - the warning will be in place from 6pm tonight until 10am tomorrow.

The warning says: "Icy stretches may cause some travel disruption."What to expect.

"Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.

A snow-covered street at Scotsman's Lodge, Helpston from Chloe Beeson.

"Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths."
