First flurries of snow fall in Peterborough as blanket coverage arrives in Lincolnshire

The first flurries of snow have fallen in Peterborough today as the Met Office extends its severe weather warning across the region until tomorrow.

Over the county border in Lincolnshire meanwhile the snowfall has been much, much heavier, with snowploughs and gritters called in to clear roads this morning, Thursday November 30.

Police tweeted a video of the driving conditions motorists are experiencing around Louth and the north of the county and warned travelers to be aware and drive to arrive.
