First flurries of snow fall in Peterborough as blanket coverage arrives in Lincolnshire
Children at John Clare Primary School in Helpston enjoyed chasing the snowflakes while flurries were also reported in Werrington.
Over the county border in Lincolnshire meanwhile the snowfall has been much, much heavier, with snowploughs and gritters called in to clear roads this morning, Thursday November 30.

Hide AdPolice tweeted a video of the driving conditions motorists are experiencing around Louth and the north of the county and warned travelers to be aware and drive to arrive.
