As thousands of farmers head to the second day of LAMMA 2016, we took to the skies over Peterborough to take a look at the show from the air.
LAMMA is the UK’s largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show and takes place every January at Peterborough Showground.
The show sees more than 900 exhibitors from all corners of the UK, showcasing the latest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services.
Traffic coped fairly well on day 1 yesterday, Wednesday January 20, but with estimated up to 10,000 vehicles travelling to the event, which is just off the A605 and A1/A1M junction, each day there are still traffic warnings in place.
Mike Perie, Highways England Events Planning Manager for the East of England, said: “This is a very popular event, and I’d advise all drivers using the roads nearby to be able to plan their journeys to avoid being stuck in traffic.”
The event closes at 6pm tonight, Thursday January 21.
