UPDATE: Man from Chatteris killed in Mepal crash - road remains closed
A man has died following a collision on the A142 at Mepal this morning.
The man, who was in his 30s and from Chatteris, was driving a motorcycle when it was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen Transporter van at about 7.20am.
The driver of the van, a man in his 40s from Ely, did not receive any injuries.
The road is still closed between Chatteris and Sutton and motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
