UPDATE FRIDAY 11.50AM: Patient in hospital with head injury after A16 crash in Crowland

One person is in hospital with a head injury after a car and a HGV collided in Crowland on Thursday night.

Emergency services were called the A16 roundabout at the junction of Peterborough Road and James Road, Crowland, at about 10.20pm.

Drivers and passengers were already out of both vehicles when fire crews arrived from Crowland, while a team of LIVES voluntary responders treated any causalties for their injuries.

One person was taken by ambulance to Peterborough City Hospital for treatment on a head injury.

FRIDAY 9.30AM: Minor injuries after car and HGV crash on A16 in Crowland

Several people have been hurt after a car and a HGV collision on the A16 in Crowland on Thursday night.

Firefighters from Crowland were called out shortly after 10.20pm and attended the collision scene.

All drivers and passengers were out of the vehicles by the time fire crews arrived who were left to make the cars safe.
