There are still long delays in the area. Possible diversion routes available are as follows:

* From Eye heading south, turn onto Parnwell Way to Edgerley Way Road onto Fengate before rejoining Frank Perkins Parkway.

* Northbound from Perkins Parkway, come off early at Nene Parkway to avoid tailbacks. From there roads into the city centre via Longthorpe Parkway are clear. Alternatively follow Nene Parkway to the A47, Soke Parkway for routes north of the city.
