UPDATE: A47 reopens at Wisbech after horse is killed in crash
A horse has been killed following a collision with a vehicle on the A47 at Wisbech this morning.
The road was shut in both directions between the A1101 Elm High Road and the B198 Cromwell Road/Redmoor Lane, but reopened at 10.55am.
Police were called at 7.10am to reports that a car had collided with a horse.
A vet was called to the scene but the animal sadly died.
No motorists are reported injured.
