Two men pictured in a CCTV image regarding the theft of Warwick Davis’ caravan are not suspects, Cambridgeshire Police have confirmed.
The police posted an image yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, October 14) of the two men who they wanted to speak to in connection with last week’s theft from Short Drove in Holme.
And this morning the force confirmed that the men have come forward to assist them in their investigation, but that neither individual is considered a suspect.
Posting on their Facebook page, the police stated: “We would like to thank everyone who made contact regarding the two men previously pictured.
“Please be aware that we have spoken with them and they are witnesses who are helping with our investigations – they are not suspected to be involved.
“Please continue to share and help us find the caravan.”
The Swift Cranfield caravan belonging to the Star Wars and Harry Potter actor was stolen on Thursday evening (October 8).
It is believed the caravan was taken between about 9pm and 9.30pm.
Mr Davis has appealed to the thieves to return sentimental items from the caravan, including special holiday memories.
