A section of the A17 near Long Sutton remains closed this afternoon after crash involving two lorries and a car earlier today.
It happened near the junction of the A17 and A1101 Wisbech Road where two articulated lorries and a car collided at about 9,40am.
Fire crews from Long Sutton, Holbeach and Cambridgeshire where among emmergency services at the scene where fuel spillage from one of the lorries was cleared up.
One of the lorries drivers required first aid after suffering very minor injuries.
A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “Various substances and chemicals spilled onto the carriageway which need to be removed by a specialist company.
“The road will be reopened to traffic as soon as it is safe to do so but in the meantime, a signed diversion is in place.”

A crash involving two lorries and a car led to a section of the A17 in Long Sutton being closed for several hours today.
Emergency services were called to the stretch of the A17 between the A1101 Wisbech Road and Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge, following the crash at around 9.40am.
Nobody was seriously injured in the collision but both lorry drivers were taken to hospital.
