Swan slows down traffic on Peterborough’s Fletton Parkway

Motorists on the Fletton Parkway were in a bit of a flap this morning after spotting a swan on the road.

Police received reports shortly after 10am this morning of the swan on the northbound lane between Stanground and Boongate.

A police spokeswoman said: “Officers were dispatched but the swan has now flown away and traffic is flowing freely.”
