Serious crash between car and lorry at Peterborough Service Station.

A motorist had to be cut free of their vehicle after a crash involving a lorry and a car at a Peterborough Service Station this morning.

On Friday, December 15 at 12.19am, one fire crew and a rescue vehicle from Dogsthorpe, and one crew from Yaxley were called to a road traffic collision at Peterborough Service Station, Haddon.

Crews arrived to find a collision involving one lorry and one car.

Using specialist cutting equipment, one casualty was released from a vehicle and left in the care of paramedics. Two casualties got out of the vehicle before crews arrived and were left in the care of the ambulance service.

The crews returned to their stations by 1.54am.
