Police cordoned off a road in Peterborough city centre last night, Tuesday September 27, following a fatal collision.
Emergency Services were called to the scene of the collision in Bright Street near the Brewery Tap pub at around 9.10pm.
A pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was involved in a collision with a Land Rover and was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The driver of the Land Rover was uninjured in the collision.
The road reopened in the early hours of this morning.
Police are not in a position to name the deceased at this point in time.
