One lane of Peterborough city centre road re-opens after floods

One lane of Bourges Boulevard has been re-opened following the floods caused by a burst water main this morning.

The lane, on the side heading from Asda towards the Queensgate Roundabout, is allowing traffic through, but there are still long delays.

Anglian Water engineers are working on the site at the moment, and much of the flood water has now been drained.

It is not known how long the other lanes will be closed for.
