Stretches of Bourges Boulevard in Peterborough city centre will be closed to traffic overnight this week.

The first closure takes place tonight (Monday) near the railway station, and there will be further disruption at night throughout the week.

Tonight’s closure takes place on the northbound carriageway (rail station side) between 9pm and 5am tomorrow. The road will be shut from The Queensgate roundabout to Station Road South. Station Road South will be closed. The same stretch of road will be closed at the same times tomorrow.

On Wednesday the southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am between Westgate and the Queensgate Roundabout. The same stretch will be closed on Thursday and Friday between 9pm and 6am.

Further closures are expected to be in place next week.

The roadworks are expected to be finished by the end of July.
